I'm a Berlin-based gaffer, working across photography and film - fashion, advertising, and music videos.

I'm Žilvinas Garnelis, a 31-year-old gaffer and lighting designer from Lithuania with a strong passion for visual storytelling through light. After finishing my studies in Applied Physics, since 2018, I’ve been working in the lighting department daily. I'm fluent in English and currently hold an A2 level in German.

I work with continuous lighting and strobe, and use wireless DMX technology with programming software.

Since 2022, I’ve co-run Raw Light Rental, delivering reliable, production-ready lighting equipment and lighting team.
